Gateway to Dao Meditation & Qigong
道法自然 "Dao (or Tao) follows what is natural." (From Dao-de Jing, 《道德经》, Chapter 25)
In this meditation and Qigong course, we delve deeply into the ancient practices designed to harmonize your body, mind, and spirit with the Dao 道. You will learn to align your internal energy, or Qi 氣 with the natural rhythms through guided meditative techniques and flowing Qigong/Taichi movements. These practices enhance physical health and emotional well-being and foster a profound sense of interconnectedness with the Dao, allowing you to experience a tranquil state of balance and unity.
The combination of the Eight Pieces of Silk Brocade (Baduanjin 八段錦-a set of medical Qigong with eight movements designed to improve overall health), Healing Standing Qigong (Zhan Zhuang 站桩) & simple Taichi movements will be introduced to generate greater flow of Qi through centering, grounding & fluidity. As you progress, you will discover how each Qigong movement mirrors the patterns of nature, embodying the Daoist philosophy of effortless action or Wu Wei 無為. The embodied understanding helps dissolve the barriers between the self and the universe, enabling a seamless flow of energy that supports your journey toward inner peace and spiritual enlightenment, empowering you to live with greater harmony and purpose.
Meditative Taichi Workshops- Embodying Mountain & Water
Explore the harmonious interplay of stillness and movement through Tai Chi, a practice that draws inspiration from the natural elements. This course invites participants to cultivate deep grounding and fluidity in their bodies and minds.
Through a series of gentle movements and meditative exercises, you will learn to embody the stability of a mountain—rooted, strong, and unwavering—while embracing the fluidity of water, allowing for adaptability and grace. Participants will develop connections with their whole being while integrating breath naturally with movements, experience inner peace, improve balance, and enhance overall well-being.

TaiChi is known for its health benefits in its prevention of many health problems. Not only does it relax the mind, mobilize energy, and bring flexibility and balance to the body; it also promotes inner strength physically and mentally. Once you learn the essence of TaiChi, you can apply it to various areas in life, and practice it anywhere and at any time.
In this eight-session online course, students will learn the essence of TaiChi, including body alignment for energy conservation and long-term health, developing the flow of Qi (life energy), enhancing awareness and sensitivity of one’s whole being through natural, relaxed, and mindful movements of TaiChi. Short sessions of guided meditation will be conducted for students to reach deep relaxation, which is the foundation for the practice of TaiChi. Standing Qigong (Zhan Zhuang 站桩) for grounding and healing will also be introduced in class. The unity of body, breathing, and mind brings overall harmony. Self-healing process happens in the constant flow of ease and balance in TaiChi movements and in life. We invite you to come to explore the healing power of TaiChi and rejuvenate yourself.
